Phil is an experienced software architect, programmer and network engineer. He spent 20 years working in academic Genetics / Bioinformatics. Over the last 11 years, Phil has been the architect, developer and maintainer of multiple software platforms for the renewable energy industry. Developments include systems for the cloud based collection of massive energy datasets, as well as custom-built data concentrator devices

Ben Brown
Workshop Manager

Ben is our long serving workshop manager. Over the years he has accomplished a large variety of panel building projects. He’s always happy to liaise with our customers and manage purchases with our suppliers. Ben offers guidance to the team where needed.

Josh Benham
Thermal Tube Assembly Supervisor

Josh is the supervisor for the tube building team and has been with PAD Technology for 3 years. Ensuring anything leaving our workshop is up to and above the standard whilst also showing great attention to detail and never failing to apply the first time right mentality when completing work.

Nicholas Benham
Panel Build Technician

Nick has studied electrical installation and has recently joined the team. He's been successfully assisting our project technicians with panel wiring for the last 9 months.

Alastair Booth
Project Technician

Alastair has been working in the renewable energy sector for the last 10 years. He has wealth of experience in solar PV installation, commissioning and maintenance. He now manages project delivery for us, from the panel build stage through to site commissioning.

Peter Chrysostomou
Panel Build Technician

Peter is our new junior technician. He is juggling mechanical engineering and university while aiding us with electrical wiring.

Robert Edwards
Thermal Tube Assembly Technician

Robert has been at PAD Technology since 2022. He looks after software and machinery maintenance within the tube building team. His roles extend to UV glue and curing, HOT assembly, servicing hardware and solar quality testing.

Guy Flitt
Thermal Tube Assembly Technician

Guy has predominantly been working in our naked energy workshop, building HOT and PVT solar plates. He’s keen to begin his apprenticeship in the electrical industry.

Daniel Hammond
Thermal Tube Assembly Technician

Daniel is an assembly technician and and an established member of the tube building team with many skills such as end cap assembly, HOT and PVT plate assembly, UV curing and vaccum pumping.

Lloyd Shelley
Project Technician

Lloyd is a qualified electrician and has abundance of experience in the industrial electrical industry and has been panel building for 12 years. Lloyd joined the PAD Technology team in October 2021, he is very particular, takes pride in his work. Lloyd strives to deliver high quality work and high standards for our customers.
